Traditionally used for premenstrual syndrome, hormone balance, latent hyperprolactinaemia, erratic ovulation, acne, estrogen excess, PCOS, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, menorrhagia, amenorrhoea, benign breast growths,  ovarian cysts, sleep maintenance insomnia, excessive libido in men,

Contraindications ~ Best not taken alongside progestogenic drugs, contraceptive pill or hormone replacement therapy. May aggravate pure spasmodic dysmenorrhoea not associated with premenstrual syndrome.
