Traditionally used to support fatigue, physical stress, convalescence, failure to thrive, improve physical and mental performance and cognition, male infertility, impotence, Type 2 diabetes, mild congestive heart failure, menopausal symptoms, tonic for the elderly, post viral conditions, chronic fatigue syndrome, Fibromyalgia, ADHD, drug addiction.

Contraindications ~ Caution in acute states (mania, asthma attacks, infections, infections, menorrhagia), and with stimulants (caffeine, amphetamines). Overstimulation can occur. Controversial in hypertension. Best avoided with warfarin, and MAOI antidepressants.
