Actions ~ Aromatic digestive, carminative, diaphoretic, expectorant.

Traditionally used for Digestive weakness, flatulence, dyspepsia, anorexia, hypochlorhydria, Acute bronchitis

Contraindications ~ May cause photosensitivity, hence avoid in prolonged exposure to sunlight. Caution in peptic ulcers and gastro-oesophageal reflux.
