I’ve been on my Hay Fever tincture for 2 weeks, and I havent had to take any antihistamines. My sinus seems clearer and getting better every day. I had a bout of sinusitis just before I started the tincture and I feel it helped clear my sinus so much faster than normal, and I haven’t felt ‘stuffed and headachey’ for a while. I want to thank you so much. I’m loving this tincture and believe it has helped me so much. Thank you, Thank you.

I’m so grateful that I found your business! The Cat’s Claw tincture is really helping my neuropathy! It’s the only thing that has helped in 7 months! I’ve been experimenting with supplements/tonics/herbs and your Cats Claw tincture is prevailing. I’m so excited that it’s helping, and I’m so thankful

My skin is very sensitive and delicate. I have tried alot of products, big brands and more boutique ones, with no luck. Then I discovered Byron Botanicals. Magic! I have been using the Sausage Tree Lotion for several years now and have not had any more reactions. Very happy and grateful. And big bonus – the fabulous customer service. Highly recommend.

~ Pau D’Arco ~ 🌿 the most delightful sweet scent of vanilla caramel/chocolate filling the studio, if only I could share it with you all …

Pau D’Arco is a tree native to South America, it’s bark is traditionally used for bacterial and fungal infections, inflammation, candida, and immune support, antioxidant activity, as well as a support alongside cancer therapy. Topically is it commonly used for fungal infections.

I just love the aroma of Pau D’Arco .. it has the most beautiful sweet, fresh, almost caramel/chocolate like scent.

Perimenopause and Menopause ….. 🪷
Just as young women go through a transitional time at puberty (usually from the ages of 12-21 year of age), women also go through another significant transitional time from the ages of 40-55 yrs of age. Puberty is the beginning of menstruation and the beginning of fertility, menopause is the transition out of fertility, not the ending of health and well-being and thriving … it is just a natural transition. We have been led to believe that we lose health and vitality at menopause but this does not need to be our truth!

Saying that … it is a time of manifestation … our bodies will manifest a life of health and awareness and openness, nourishment and self love …. Or we will manifest a lifetime of pushing through, resentment, ignoring the signs of imbalance, unresolved trauma and poor diet and toxic environments. It’s hard to say this and probably to hear this , but to move forward with flow we need to address these things with a gentle honesty.

Our symptoms and conditions are signs .. signs we need to address something in our life, this could be diet, lifestyle, trauma, emotional needs, or simply our beliefs around life stages and aging.

Have we lived a life of nourishment and self love, have we addressed past traumas and emotional baggage? Have we been aware of the things that can contribute to hormone imbalance, and toxic overload? Have we prioritise a diet that is mostly fresh fruit and vegetables, with adequate protein and avoided seed oils and processed foods? Do we have good boundaries for ourselves and know how to prioritise self care? Do we make time to be outside in nature, moving our bodies with gentle exercise, walking, swimming and spending time daily in the sunshine?

It is never too late to begin working on these things, the times I hear ‘I’ve gained weight, Im losing my hair, I have no energy or libido, I have brain fog, I’m moody, it’s just menopause!’ This makes me so sad … it doesn’t have to be this way!

In clinical practice we use a holistic approach, and work together on lifestyle and diet, using herbs alongside these things to support health, wellbeing and vitality no matter what stage of life! 🌿

A lot of my orders are from clients currently under the care of another Herbalist or Naturopath, or who have previously used the same herbs and don’t feel they need another appointment. (Although we do always recommend checking in with a practitioner to ensure the herbs you are taking are safe to take alongside any medications and the best options for your personal health journey)

As my mentor and fellow Herbalist Sharn @apothecarytheurban always says. .. ‘herbal medicine is the peoples medicine’ .. that is what we live by here at Byron Botanicals, herbal medicine accessible to all.

Feel free to reach out at anytime if you would like help, education or support with herbal remedies. We offer free advice and suggestions to work alongside you on your health journey …. because the best way to make herbal medicine the peoples medicine is to support education and accessibility for all. 🌿
